Bashar is a highly motivated, focused, and result-oriented university lecturer whose unique teaching and research have yielded impactful results. He is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Microbiology at the Federal University of Birnin Kebbi in Nigeria. Over the years, working in higher education has allowed him to develop strong analytical skills, innovative teaching strategies, and communication as well as leadership skills. Bashar has vast experience designing and supervising research projects in the field of Microbiology. In the last six years, he has published more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles, some of which are indexed in Schopus, and has attended conferences in Nigeria and abroad. Bashar is also the winner of a number of prestigious, highly competitive scholarships such as the DAAD Ph.D. fellowship tenable at Rhodes University, South Africa; Swinburne University of Technology Ph.D. scholarship, Malaysia as well as the Chinese government Ph.D. scholarship tenable at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
