Last year, 2023, during the World AMR Awareness Week, we held a training session on the Basics of Project Management with the support of World Health Organization’s Mimi (Meheret) Melles-Brewer. The training session received a warm attendance with participants coming from 15 countries in Africa. The training was aimed at capacitating the youth on how best they can utilize simple project management skills to plan and implement AMR activities in a best practice approach. The training focused on: Project Planning, Effective Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Documenting your work, & Dissemination of Project Outputs.
